Bourbon Bacon Jam
Just think about it... How many dishes, just off the top of your head include this salty and crispy delicious-ness.
Bacon is used in too many dishes to start naming them. Some so extreme you just can’t comprehend... like bacon ice cream with bacon peanut brittle or Bacon-naise?
Who knew the king of all foods could cause a compulsive need to eat it in any application.
Which brings me to this recipe for Bourbon Bacon Jam... Fooled by the thought of bacon as a jam and pleasantly surprised with a savory and sweet addition to a burger, baked potato or pancakes!
Wow going to have to try that one for sure, bacon and maple syrup is like peanut butter loves jelly!
