Well y’all...It’s a southern thang...a blast from the past is making a comeback!
This delicious spread is often found smeared between two pieces of white bread with the crust cut off and cut into dainty sandwiches or scooped into a celery stick...delicious, however this cheesy spread has so much more to offer.
Try it on a burger smothered in onions or spread it on some buttermilk jalapeno cornbread.

Pimento Cheese Spread Step 2: Char the pepper over an open flame, grill or broiled in the oven.
Pimento Cheese Spread Step 3: Place the whole peppers in a bowl and cover tight with plastic wrap.
Pimento Cheese Spread Step 4: Allow the peppers to sit for 10-15 minutes so they may soften and help peel easily. Remove all the skin and seeds.
Pimento Cheese Spread Step 5: Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until a smooth consistency is reached. Chill.
Pimento Cheese Spread Step 6: Serve with crackers or as a spread on burgers, sandwiches or wraps.
